Killka by Bodegas Salentein

Today i tasted the Killka wines of Bodegas Salentein.
In the Netherlands sold at Makro (Metro Group)

Tasting notes:


Killka Malbec 2012

Purplish red colour. In the nose, it displays aromas reminiscent of plums and blackberries with a hint of vanilla. In the mouth, it is a fruity wine with very good structure and silky tannins.

Killka Chardonnay 2011

Greenish yellow colour. In the nose, it displays aromas of apples and pears with a hint of vanilla and honey granted by its oak ageing.
In the mouth, it is a mild and fruity wine with very good acidity, highlighting its mineral citric character. It is an ideal wine to match grilled and smoked fish (salmon), white meat, sushi and vegetarian dishes.
Killka Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Bright ruby red colour. In the nose, it displays aromas of red fruits with roast peppers and spices as well as a hint of vanilla granted by its oak ageing.
In the mouth, it is a fruity wine with very good structure and silky tannins. It is an ideal wine to match grilled/BBQ red meat, game, stew and hard cheeses.
